SYMPTOM(s):
clients loss connection after 15 -20 minutes.
Clients connect to database through VPN software.
CAUSE:
KeepAlive option disconnects connection.
FIX:
The Windows KeepAliveTime may be being exceeded in the registry.

The KeepAliveTime registry setting specifies the interval over which to contact WINS to refresh the name. The default is 960,000 milliseconds (16 minutes).
