Fathom High Availability Replication 1.0A
SYMPTOM(s):
Target database logins disabled after restarting the replserver using dsrutil sdb -C restart server
Unable to connect to the Target database.
CAUSE:
The Replication Server is not sending a message to the agent indicating that logins should be enabled.
CAUSE:
Bug# 20021118-002
FIX:
Upgrade to Fathom High Availability Replication 2.0A.
This problem is mentioned in the hard copy release notes that come with the product under section 2.3 Target Database logins disabled. The workaround is to shutdown the target database using the proshut tdb -byF to force a shutdown
