Report Builder V8 - GPF when using -Mm on command line
If you specify the -Mm startup parameter to Report Builder on the
command line in V8.0A Report Builder thinks it is a database
connection parameter and does not pass it through to the SQL engine.
This prevents report builder from connecting to a database that uses
a different -Mm parameter, and presents performance issues.
For example, on the command line
prorb.exe -Mm 2048 (with no database connection params)
will produce a GPF in RBENG00.DLL
Workaround:
In V8 the -Mm parameter can be specified in either the startup.pf,
rbstart.pf or on the command line along with the database connection
parameters.
