CAUSE:
Trying to create the Following setup:
- A Dynamic Frame containing a Dynamic Browser and a Dynamic Viewer on Customer records. He would like to create a couple of pass-through links to these contained objects: Data links from THIS-OBJECT to both objects and an Update link from the Viewer to THIS-OBJECT. However, the Link Maintenance tool does not allow me to create the last link. Also, he would like to have a TableIO and a Navigation pass-through link which he cannot create either.
- Then he would like to use the Customer Dynamic Frame in a Dynamic Object Controller window, on which he has the Customer SDO which would be pass-through linked to the objects in the Dynamic Frame and also a StandardToolbar that should be pass-through linked with a TableIO link to the Dynamic Frame.
- In the Product Update Bulletin I found that a Dynamic Frame can only act as a Data source or target, which is kind of limiting. Now he is forced to put the SDO, DynBrowser, DynViewer and a toolbar (to be able to maintain the data on the Orders table) into the Dynamic Frame and possibly only have a Data link as the pass-through link, which is not what he wants.
