DITEM is not large enough to hold string. (4043)
Using the SCREEN-VALUE attribute of the large editor widget in combination with the SUBSTRING function.
Trying to extract a substring from a large editor widget into a character variable.
CAUSE:
The editor contains more than 32K of data, which is the limit for the SCREEN-VALUE attribute.
FIX:
Select the string using one of the Editor methods and properties (look for "Editor Widget" in the on-line help), then use the SELECTION-TEXT attribute to assign the selected string into a character variable.
