By default, GUI viewers that are TableIO targets are rendered in Update mode initially.
FIX:
From the Container Builder. Select the Toolbar, right click and choose 'Object Properties'. Change the 'Categories' box, change the 'Tableio' mode from 'Save' to 'Update'.
