SYMPTOM(s):
Attempting to execute a 4GL program that loads thousands of records from an ASCII file into an Oracle database using Oracle DataServer.
ORACLE error 1562 see "ORACLE Error Messages and Codes Manual".(1252)
CAUSE:
This is an Oracle Administration issue and it is related to how big the Oracle's rollback segments are and how they were created. All Progress is doing is creating a transaction that is big enough to blow the Oracle's rollback segments during the load process.
FIX:
Extend the rollback segment on the Oracle side.
