rtb_fiup Error while updating the database in Roundtable

INTRODUCTION:

rtb_fiup! Error during update to database is an error that occurs
the application of schema changes in the Update Schema process.
This program (rtb_fiup) is the program that actually applies the
changes to the database.
PROGRESS ERROR NUMBER: ERROR TEXT: TYPE:

POSSIBLE CAUSE OF ERROR:
========================
Any differences in the Progress database schema and Roundtable schema
can result in this error. Verify Roundtable vs. Progress database
with the Database Integrity report.
DOES ERROR INDICATE CORRUPTION: IF SO, WHAT TYPE

YES, Roundtable and the progress database should never be out of sync.
Any rtb_fiup errors indicates a problem in Roundtable or an
inconsistancy in the two structures.
CORRECTIVE MEASURES:
====================
If any differences are found between the Progress database and the
Roundtable schema should be corrected before applying any additional
schema changes. Correct errors by changing the the progress database
from the data dictionary to be identical to the Roundtable schema.
Research the specific problem with the schema update by viewing a log
file of all schema changes that were made. Find the file called
schema.err. This file should be found in the working direcctory
of Roundtable (where RTBSETUP is found).
This file shows in detail the problem that Roundtable had applying
the schema changes.
