CAUSE:
The root cause of the problem is that the SmartDataObject now goes back to the repository for some of the column information, and since the SmartDataObject is started in validateClassData() in ry/app/rydynbrwcp.p, this causes the slowdown
FIX:
Upgrade to Dynamics 2.1A or OpenEdge 10.0A
