SYMPTOM(s):
Error 1028 during roll forward.
SYSTEM ERROR: Physical redo, BKUPDCTR=<number>, note updctr=<number>. (1028)
Target database is on Progress minor version different from the database from which the after-image extent comes.
CAUSE:
We do not support rolling forward after image extents from one minor version (for example 9.1B) to another minor version (for example 9.1D).
Ideally, both database would be on exactly the same Service Pack level, but the very minimum requirement is that both databases are on the same minor version.
FIX:
Bring both databases to the same Progress minor version.
