Status: Unverified
FACT(s) (Environment):
SonicMQ
SYMPTOM(s):
SonicMQ: MFSecurityException when trying to connect to the Management Console.
SonicMQ Broker started com.sonicsw.mf.common.MFSecurityException: Failed to connect to the management broker due to authentication failure
Failed to connect to Connection1 (Domain1 @ tcp://localhost:2506)
Failed to connect to Directory Service for Domain 'Domain1'
CAUSE:
Your user configuration is incorrect somewhere. e.g. A username or password is set incorrectly.
FIX:
Here is what you can do to try to get the broker up and running:
1) Stop the container.
2) Start the Management Console
3) Connect using the following parameters:
Connection name: whatever you want
Domain Name: <your domain name> (default Domain1)
Connection URL: ds.xml
Username: admin
Password: blank
This will connect you to the DS for a patch-up of the current situation.
4) Check the users that exist (maybe you need to add the user to the Security environment as it might not be created.
5) Also check the container.xml for the default user and password so those also exist in the DS environment.
Close the connection to the DS and try to start the container again. Now you have more chance. If not, you will need to connect to the DS again and try to change some more passwords (like on the Broker and container etc ...)
