Peer Direct
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.1D
All Supported Operating Systems
CAUSE:
Some of the Progress environment variables are not being correctly set within the environment.
FIX:
In some cases it has been necessary to modify the user .profile or global profiles to set some of the environment variables that are defined within several of the key Progress scripts: $DLC/bin/slib_env, $DLC/bin/java_env, etc.
Check which environment variables are being set by the following command:
set > set.txt
Read thru the java_env and slib_env and make sure that all the environment variables or additions to the appropriate PATH, CLASSPATH or LIBPATH are added the scripts used to start the Progress executables.
