Windows 95/98 experiencing slow performance after upgrade
Windows 2000/XP clients are not affected
CHANGE:
Upgrade from Progress 8x to Progress 9.1D
CAUSE:
PROPATH contained UNC paths (e.g. \\<server_name>\<share_name>) which Windows 9x clients had problems resolving.
FIX:
Fix the PROPATH by replacing UNC paths by mapped network drives.
