System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80040111): ClassFactory cannot supply requested class
Error when using ActiveX proxy in a web service within the MS .NET framework
The Proxy dll works fine when the client is a VB Windows Application. There are no problems with the Appserver.
CAUSE:
Proxygen does not yet support .NET with proxy dlls at time of writing
FIX:
Workaround:
the .Net calls a standard ASP page via an HTTP web-request, the standard ASP page then calls the proxygen dll/AppServer and this works fine
Will be supported in the Web Services Toolkit
