GOAL:
How to connect WebSpeed V9 to a V8 database.
FIX:
WebSpeed V9 can connect to a V8 database using a remote connection.
1. A server has to be running for the V8 database. The -S and -H parameters have to be specified, e.g.
proserve sports -H localhost -S prosv01
The server has to be started using the appropriate V8 environment.
2. The connection parameters for the WebSpeed V9 agents must include the -H and -S parameters.
The WebSpeed agent has to be started using the appropriate V9 environment.
