SYMPTOM(s):
Errors running proutil -C truncate bi
The -F option has been specified to proutil. (6260)
Forcing into the database skips database recovery. (6261)
This leaves the database in an unknown state, considered damaged. (6262)
Are you sure you want to skip crash recovery? (6263)
CAUSE:
You specified the -F option in the proutil utility.
This will force access into your database after discarding the data in your before-image file. This operation has very serious consequences. Please read Progress Solution P24330 attentively before proceeding.
FIX:
You should go back to your latest backup rather than forcing access into the database. Please read Progress Solution P24330 attentively for an in-depth analysis of the consequences of using -F.
