Character fields are output as char(1) instead of char(8) in SQL Create Table Option in Dictionary
Progress version 8 is working fine
CAUSE:
This is probably a bug but it will not be fixed since progress version 7 is retired. This issue is resolved in version 8.
FIX:
Upgrade progress to version 8 or to the latest version of the progress.
