Does the -SQLStmtCache database broker startup parameter have the same effect on the number of prepared statements as setting the CACHED_STATEMENTS environment variable?
FIX:
Yes, both the -SQLStmtCache startup parameter and the CACHED_STATEMENTS environment variable specify the number of statements allowed in the cache. However, the -SQLStmtCache startup parameter requires 9.1D06 or higher.
Both parameters have a default of 100 and allow a maximum of 1000 statements.
