Kbase P24503: Workaround edit AdminServerPlugins.dat: MSS Dataserver Component does not show in Progress Explorer

FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.1B

SYMPTOM(s):
"MSS DataServer" folder not present within Progress Explorer
Progress installation only has SQL Server7 Enterprise DataServer license installed
Can not upgrade to Progress 9.1C
Can not install another license on server
Can not start _msssrv.exe via a command line
CAUSE:
The MSS DataServer plugin is missing from the AdminServerPlugins.dat file.
CAUSE:
Bug# 20010130-014
FIX:
Upgrade to 9.1C or above
If unable to upgrade than the workaround is:
Edit the AdminServerPlugins.dat
a) Edit the AdminServerPlugins.dat, that resides in the %DLC% directory.
b) Find the "MSS DataServer support" plugin, then copy and paste the license number into these two areas:
- The Property Manager Plugin".
- The "RemoteCommander".
(Paste the number to the end of the numeric list,before the .com.)
c) Reboot the workstation/server
