Very slow performance after migrating to 9.1D
Performance was fine with 9.1C.
No changes to the hardware.
CAUSE:
The database was started with no additional startup parameters. The pf file was not in the proper location. When specifying a pf file in your startup parameters for the database be sure the path pointing to the file location is correct.
Example: proserve dbname -pf C:\<path_to_pf_file>\dbname.pf
FIX:
Starting the database using the correct pf file resolved the issue.
