FIX:
1. Start ProControl via Control Panel.
2. Choose Detail. Tabbed folders appear.
3. Choose the Options tab and activate the DataServer Page toggle box.
4. Choose OK and then choose Detail on the ProControl main window. The DataServers tab appears.
5. Choose the DataServers tab and choose Insert to add an entry for the broker. The General and Environment tabs appear.
6. Enter the appropriate information in the following fields in the General folder:
Identifiers: Provide a unique name to identify the broker. The name must be unique to the host. The identifier can be up to 30 characters long. For example, mssbroker.
Executable Name: Specify the broker executable. By default, the _probrkr.exe executable displays.
Working Directory: Specify the directory that the broker uses, for example, to create the dataserv.lg file.
Service Name: Specify the value for the Service Name (-S) startup parameter.
Network Protocol: Specify TCP for the Network (-N) startup parameter.
7. Activate the Auto Start toggle box if the broker should start automatically when the host machine starts up.
8. Choose the Environment tab in the DataServers folder.
9. In the Environment tab, set the MSSSRV variable to the DataServer executable that you are using. The default is %DLC%/bin/_msssrv.exe.
10. Choose OK.
11. Start the broker by selecting the identifier and choosing Start on the DataServers folder.
