CAUSE:
Extensions were excluded in a wrong protection menu.
FIX:
NAV 2003 has 2 menus where to specify extensions to exclude - under "Auto-Protect" and under "Manual Scan".
Progress extensions have to be excluded (for on-line performance) under "Auto-Protect" menu.
