FACT(s) (Environment):
CorVu 4.2
SYMPTOM(s):
The required viewer for D:\rsc/RSCInstall.jar is not installed on your system. error when installing CorVu RapidScorecard
CAUSE:
RSCInstall.jar is required by the Rapid Scorecard installation process; it is located on the CorVu media. It has to be accessed using a java browser of at least the java version listed in the Installation Guide under the Setup Menu for RapidScorecard.
FIX:
1. Check the Installation Guide under the Setup Menu for RapidScorecard.
2. Download and install the required JRE or JDK listed under "Installing web server components".
You should now be able to start the installation.
