Three appservers running on three separate ports
Appserver broker logs posting error
Could not listen on port: 3XXX
java.net.BindException: Address already in use
at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.socketBind(Native Method)
at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.bind(PlainSocketImpl.java:405)
at java.net.ServerSocket.<init>(ServerSocket.java:170)
at java.net.ServerSocket.<init>(ServerSocket.java:121)
CAUSE:
The exact cause is unknown at the time of this writing.
FIX:
1. Reboot server to release ports immediately.
2. Use third party utility from Tucows (Active Ports 1.4) to determine what user/process is grabbing appserver ports
