Trying to send control characters / escape sequences to the printer via the PUT CONTROL command
Control characters / escape sequences appear to be ignored
FACT(s) (Environment):

CAUSE:
The printer driver is throwing away the control characters / escape sequences
FIX:
Use the -Wa -wpp startup parameter when Progress is started. This startup parameter tells Progress to bypass the Windows printer driver and print directly to the printer.
