SYMPTOM(s):
Issuing a SELECT COUNT(*) SQL Statement against an AS/400 database table.
Using a LAN connection at 100 Mbps.
Progress takes about 15 minutes to query a database table that contains approximately 3000 records.
The same statement runs very quick when executing it from the SQL editor in the AS/400 side.

CAUSE:
The message buffer size (-Mm) is too small.
FIX:
Increase the message buffer size
