FACT(s) (Environment):
CorVu 4.2
SYMPTOM(s):
Cannot read directory error when configuring CorVu ABA server
Cannot browse to database directory from ABA Administrator
Progress client works ok
CAUSE:
The ABA server has to be on the same machine and operating system as the database. Trying to use e.g. an NT ABA server (installed on the client) to connect with a database on Unix won't work.
FIX:
Ensure that you are using the correct ABA server for the platform.
