Deploy from Windows GUI to Unix or DOS Character mode 4438
The 7.3B Windows product includes some character mode capabilities
which allow you to develop and test character applications in the
Windows environment. However, the 7.3B Windows product is not capable
of producing character-based r-code for deployment purposes.
To deploy a character based application, you need to compile the
application in a full character mode environment (either the 7.3B DOS
product, or the 7.3 Unix character environment).
R-code compiled under the 7.3B Windows product will produce the
following error when run in a character environment:
Program was compiled under another incompatible display environment.
