Are Global Unique ID's (GUID's) essential during the Design for PeerDirect databases?

FIX:
GUID's are only need in a bi-directional replication network where you have updates to a table done in more then one database at the same time and need the Primary key value to be guaranteed to be unique. If you are in a uni-directional network (only one database is being modified) you do not need to use GUID's.
