Does Progress Support DLL or OCX usage?
FIX:
Yes, you can use a DLL & OCX calls in your Progress 4GL application. The External Program Interface Guide explains how.
However, remember that this is the process by which Progress communicates with a 3rd party module. Progress will support the "How To's" of sending information to and receiving information from these objects.
The proper methods or expected processing of these objects is not the responsibility of Progress though and, any issues with invoking these objects or questions as to their behavior should be directed to the objects provider.
