SYMPTOM(s):
Can not connect to admin server running on UNIX from Progress explorer
Root started admin server on UNIX
Root login will not connect, the hour glass is there and Progress explorer will hang at message 9096
The windows machine has the same patch installed as the UNIX machine
The windows machine has 2 network cards installed
- 66.153.51.189 ( reported in cmdplugin.log for PE connection )
- 10.xx.xx.xx for a different network
CAUSE:
Cause unknown at this time. Looks like related how the RMI client resolves hostname for the server
FIX:
Disable the 2nd network card
