Status: Unverified
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.1x
Oracle DataServer
SYMPTOM(s):
Insufficient privileges to load data
Original progress database migrated to oracle contains security restrictions on tables
The schema holder created by protoora contains the same restrictions as original database.
When connecting to oracle using the service name this became part of the user id on the progress session, so USERID return user@ORAservice. However restrictions are defined for "user" butnot for "user@ORAservice".
CAUSE:
Schema holder contains security restrictions which do not allow to load data.
FIX:
Because it is not possible to enter a user in User List containing a special character( @ ) retractions have to be removed from original Progress database and migration must be done again.
In this way all restrictions from schema holder are gone.
