PROGRESS Knowledge Base (PKB)

The Progress Knowledge Base is an up to date technical reference
database providing customers with immediate access to information on
known solutions to problems, error message explanations and other
related facts. The PKB is a PROGRESS based Windows application
which resides on a CD-ROM along with its own Progress Personal
Database license. The application has full GUI functionality
and provides full featured query search and data retrieval
functionality.
The PKB gives our customers the ability to access technical
information - a derivative of the same Knowledge Base information our
technical support staff currently uses to solve customer issues. Use
of the PKB by development staff, help desks and partners will allow:
> Rapid response to known problem/solution -- the information is at
your finger tips.
> Ability to provide known answers to typical questions anytime of the
day or night -- real time information on-line.
> Allow our customers and partners the ability to further enhance
their knowledge set related to PROGRESS.
