SYMPTOM(s):
Regular Memory Violation which stops the database since OS problems
SYSTEM ERROR: Memory violation. (49)
S/E 49 followed either by error 5027 or error 2255
User <num> died with <num> buffers locked. (5027)
SYSTEM ERROR: Incomplete microtransaction. (2255)
Begin ABNORMAL shutdown code 2 (2249)
All stacktraces different but pointing to record locks
CAUSE:
Most certainly the OS problems and the reboot of the machine while the database was up and running are the cause of some index corruptions detected after the numerous System Error 49.
FIX:
Fix the index problem, using "proutil" with either the option "-C idxbuild" when the database is offline or, with the option "-C idxfix" while the database is up and running.
