dclerr ojt alignment ip offset out of sync RIPPER VIRUS
DRAFT COPY - Currently under review and edit.
If you recieve the error:
System error: dlcerr ojt alignment and ip offset are out of sync
Check the size of the database file. There is a virus called RIPPER
which changes the size of the database to 16,000 bytes and sets the
date to September 1986. This virus does not look for database files
specifically, it takes bytes from various files on the system and
swaps them between files. Therefore causing severe database
corruption.
Going back to a clean backup is the only solution.
