No errors in the database log file
CAUSE:
The port or the service name used in the DSN is not the port or service name the database is started with.
FIX:
Change the port being specified for the DSN to match the one being used to start the database. Enter this port or service name in the client DSN. The connection should now be successful.
If unsure of the service port of the database, check the last multi-user mode startup section of the database log file.
