UIB load gives error 1006 ' adecomm/_s-scheme.p DICTDB ...`
Workaround for error 1006

If you encounter the following error when loading .w into the UIB
adecomm/_s-scheme.p database dictdb not connected (1006)
then you may have encountered a bug that will be fixed in version 8.
The DICTDB has not been properly established due to some
confusion as to what to set it to. This may happen if many
databases or schema holders are possible DICTDB definitions.
It may also happen when the database is of a previous version than
the UIB; for instance, if the database is a version 6 database.
The version 7 workaround for this problem is as follows:
Bring up the UIB.
Connect to your database as usual.
Select New to create a new window.
Go into the schema picker (database fields button) to pick
some db fields -- pick the database you want it to be-- this will
reset DICTDB.
Now close the window and load your own .w.
The reason why this will work is that by going
into the schema picker, you will establish the correct
DICTDB and the window will load correctly.
