Status: Unverified
SYMPTOM(s):
Client keeps creating records when abnormal shutdown
Shared memory connection
Records are backed out when restarting the database broker
CAUSE:
When the database broker is stopped, the client sessions are disconnected and the shared memory is released. However, when it crashes, the shared memory is still available for the clients. That's why records are created even if the broker is abnormally shut down.
However, when restarting the database broker, the transactions are backed out.
FIX:
None.
