SYMPTOM(s):
ProControl: Error 267 occurred.
Error occurs when attempting to start the database via ProControl.
Error message is displayed within the ProControl utility.
CHANGE:
Customer assigned FULL ACCESS to the database working directory.
CAUSE:
Assigning FULL ACCESS to the database working directory prevents the "system" account from creating the DBname.LK file in the database's working directory.
FIX:
Within the Control Panel's Services area, modify ProService for 8.3x so ProService logs in as "This Account" Vs. logging in as the "System" account.
