GOAL:

How to recover from applying a Service Pack incorrectly to a Dynamics ICF database.

GOAL:

ICF database is corrupted after applying Service Pack.

FIX:

ICF database should be backed up prior to applying Service Pack.

There are two way to recover.

1. Restore the backup of the ICF database. Start Progress Dynamics initially as a client/server session as Admin (default login) so that the DCU can perform the second stage of the Repository upgrade. Then (after ADO's are applied) restart the Progress Dynamics session.

2. If a backup was not taken then build a new ICF database using the DCU and then load the application.
