Windows NT 32 Intel/Windows 2000
SYMPTOM(s):
Overlay printing problems with Lexmark T520 SBE
Overlay will not print when creating a print job from Progress
Background image is not being printed
CAUSE:
The online documentation of the Lexmark T520 SBE printer driver (version 7.4) mentions the following:
"An overlay created using one graphic mode will not print if a different graphic mode is selected when sending the job to the printer. You must print using the same graphic mode in which the overlay was originally created."
FIX:
Available Graphic Modes for the printer driver are:
XL, Raster, GL/2, Auto Select
Use the SYSTEM-DIALOG PRINTER-SETUP statement to insure you are using the proper graphic mode when printing. For example:
SYSTEM-DIALOG PRINTER-SETUP.
OUTPUT TO PRINTER.
DISPLAY "Hello".
OUTPUT CLOSE.
