SYMPTOM(s):
Character pairs are truncated to a single character when pasted through Windows 2000 telnet server
For example a character string 11223344 when pasted into the telnet session appears as 11234
For example a character string aabbccdd when pasted into the telnet session appears as aabcd
CAUSE:
Microsoft bug in Windows 2000 Telnet Server
FIX:
Apply the SP4 (or later) for Windows 2000 or contact Microsoft TS to get a SP4 hotfix as per MS KB 811971 entry
