SYMPTOM(s):
Cannot log into report server via ReportCast using MS Internet Explorer
Getting "Page not found" in the Internet browser
CAUSE:
Due to a Microsoft limitation, users cannot log into report server via ReportCast with MS Internet Explorer version 5.01 Service Pack 2 using basic authentication.
FIX:
Microsoft has fixed this problem with Microsoft Security Hotfix (Q295106) for Internet Explorer 5.01 Service Pack 2. Please apply this Hotfix or upgrade to a later version of IE to resolve this problem.
