FIX:
In 9.1E, you would access the Progress Data Dictionary and choose -> Schema -> SQL Properties -> Select the table and then you can modify the Width for each of the fields.
In 10.1X access the Progress Data Dictionary and choose -> Schema -> Adjust Field Width -> Select the table and then you can modify the Width for each of the fields.
