FACT(s) (Environment):
Windows NT 32 Intel/Windows 2000
SYMPTOM(s):
Date and timestamps of the .db and .lk files are different from the rest of the database when viewed with Windows Explorer.
FIX:
When a broker is started for a database the .DB and .LK file (and the other database files) are opened at approximately the same time. Windows Explorer shows by default the modification date and time attribute of files. During the lifetime of the broker session the other files (eg. the .BI file(s)) are more likely to be modified more frequently than the .DB and the .LK files. This explains the differences in date and timestamps of the .DB and .LK files compared to the other database files.
