Kbase P21321: SonicMQ Adpater randomly fails to start on AIX

SYMPTOM(s):
SonicMQ Adapter randomly fails to start
AdminServer are NameServer up and running
SonicMQ adapter returns an error when attempting to start
Unable to connect to <adapteNamer> (8289)
Unable to find sonicMQ1 (8281)
Problem occurs also in latest patch of 9.1C
All AIX OS Patch are applied
Using JVM 1.3.0
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.1C
IBM AIX 4.3
CAUSE:
Problem with the JVM installed
FIX:
Get the latest patch of JVM 1.3.0. This problem problem is solved with the patch ca130-20000622.
In case the above patch does not solve the issue, then DISABLE the JIT.
Note : It is also recommended to apply AIX maintenance OS level 10 or later.
