FACT(s) (Environment):

SYMPTOM(s):
Using Quoter utility with the -f parameter from the command prompt gives an error:
Unknown option: -f
Quoter utility has been customized.
CHANGE:
The 8.3B Quoter utility was modified to accept the -f parameter and the Progress version was upgraded from 8.3B to 8.3E
CAUSE:
The default Quoter utlity does not accept -f parameter.
FIX:
If additional functionality is needed, recompile and use the modified source code of the Quoter utility (quoter.c).
Progress Sofware Corporation does not support executables which are modified (in the source code) for additional functionality.
