Installing Progress on a mapped drive.
The permissions on the mapped drive are correct.
INSTALLATION WRITE PRIVATE PROFILE ERROR (539)
Unable to write to the Progress MS-Windows initialization file. (<path>\progress.ini)
When starting up Progress:
CopyAndTailorProgressIni:"Startup:DLC" GetProfString failed.
When starting up Progress:
CopyFileData: CopyAndTailorProgressIni failed
CAUSE:
The progress.ini is missing the DLC environment variable.
FIX:
Adding the missing environment variables in the [Startup] section of the progress.ini will fix the problem. The most important are DLC and PROPATH.
