Starting a development database on Win98
The Logfile Viewer flashes and disappears from the sys tray
CAUSE:
Bug # 20030311-011
CAUSE:
This is a known issue
FIX:
To work around the problem, the options in the Logfile Viewer can be accessed by other methods. The database log information in the Logfile Viewer can be accessed off of the hard drive by looking at the database.lg file in the working directory.
To do a batch shutdown, go to the Program menu and choose proenv,
run the command proshut db-name -by
For an Emergency shutdown, run from the proenv prompt:
proshut db-name -by -F
