Performance degradation occurs when performing a procopy
No performance degradation occurs when performing a UNIX cp command
Procopy slower than the UNIX cp command when procopying to a void structure.
Procopy appears to be approximately 4 times slower than the UNIX cp command.
CAUSE:
This is expected behavior. Procopy internally performs many more tasks than a basic cp command, including checking of block headers etc. The performance degradation seen is currently expected.
